LEKSAND COSTUME

The dark woman costume is used at sorrow, in Advent and at fast. A married woman wears white "old woman´s hat" ("käringhatt" in local language). An unmarried woman wears dark bonnet called "roshätta".
Accessories are a special scarf called "krushalskläde", embroidered top, embroidered black stays, black- and white striped woven apron of wool.
